With the interest of the candidates in mind, and as a way of striking the needed balance between the fairly skilled individual and the newcomer in the world of multimedia, we have made the following courses compulsory for every candidate, regardless of entries that is being initiated.

These courses are.

  • Multimedia Theory and concept (MTC)
  • Hardware for multimedia (HWM)
  • Cinematography (CMG)

 

However, there are special free makeup clasess designed for candidates who want to get familiar with the basic concept of desktop Computing. The course is

  • Basic Computer Appreciation (BCA)

 

The learning exercise has been structure such that each entry will require a minimum of 4 courses, which include the three Compulsory Major and minor one

THE MAJOR

The major is the actual program that is being registered for. The major courses will be taken vigorously with session lectures, discussion and partials. The major courses will determine the nature of multimedia project that will be assigned to candidates at the beginning of their courses, which are the adopted evaluation techniques. The progressive project work is supposed to help monitor the performance of the candidates as they apply any newly acquired skills to their project work from the start to finish.

 

THE MINOR

The Minor courses is the recommended supporting skill that should,

  • Broaden the scope of the candidates
  • Help follow up other areas of interest by the candidates, thereby aiding the candidates in the journey of self discovery.

 

Non Linear (Video) Editing

Learn how to edit Commercial Musicals Video, Films and movies, documentaries jingles and lots more with Adobe Premier Professionals, Pinnacles 12, Ulead Video X2, DVD Factory and lots more

Interactive CD Authoring and 2D Animation

 Learn how to Create CD's that can be used for presentation, proposals and training coupled with 2D animation with Micro media Flash.

3D Modeling and Animation

Learn how to create 3D graphics, models and Animations for illustration, Video effect and video animation using 3D max 10, 3D cool and lots more.

Digital Sound Authoring

Learn how to compose, mix and render your own song and sound track digitally using fruity loops, sound boost and Adobe Audition

Digital Visual Effect

Learn how to create breath taking visual effect for movies, commercials, and musicals video using Adobe after effect, Particle illusion, Digital Juice and lot more

Digital Photography

Learn how to model a picture, digital photography techniques with powerful photo packaging software like, Digi Art, Adobe Photoshop Cs2, Photo Impart X2 and lots more.

Cinematography

Become a professional Cameraman as you learn Basic Covering Techniques, Camera handling, camera tricks, Lightning techniques and lightning tricks.

Computer Graphics

Learn how to design posters Design CD Cover and label, billboard and book cover with CorelDraw 12, Adobe Photoshop and lots more.

 

Apart from the Registration Fee 0f N700 only, the multimedia training/workshop promise to deliver so much for so very little.

 

Every Course is undertaken with a token of N2500 aside from the Basic Computer appreciation (BCA) classes, which are absolute free.

Consequently, since a minimum 4 Subject are taken per program (consisting of MTC, HFM & a major and a Minor) the minimum cost of enrolling fully for the training /workshop is N10700.

However, if a candidates wishes to enroll for more than one minor, any additional course will cost N1500 provided the first four (4) subjects have been registered for.

 

Benefit

Candidates have the opportunity of having two installments for the multimedia training/workshop, 2/3 upfront and subsequence at the middle of the learning exercise.

In addition, every candidate enrolled for the multimedia training/workshop is entitled to,

  • Handouts
  • Delicious tea break after lecture
  • Convenient time slot for adequate hand on practice and exercise
  • Participation in any of our relevant master projects with good remuneration.
  • Free subscription of relevant multimedia journals magazines and correspondents.
  • A certificate of participation at the end of the training/workshop.

 

There are 2 basic modes of participation in the multimedia training/workshop;

  • The Full time Mode
  • The jump Start Mode.

 

The full time mode requires

1          12 hours of lecture every week running for four weeks

2          24 hours of hand on practice every weeks for four weeks

3          1  hour of project discussion and evaluation every day.

 

The Jump start Mode

This is a special module designed for candidates that are not entirely new to the world of multimedia and already have a workstation where they can expand their knowledge base, it's a quick introduction basic concepts and principles without having to give excessive detail with an assumption that participant will improve on the however along side with the quick start will be the provision of relevant training material and resource links that will facilitate learning.

 

The Jump starts Mode Requires;

1          15 Hours intensive coaching spanning for one week

2          2 hours of project discussion and evaluation.

 

Evaluation      

Our adopted mode of evaluation and examination is what we have tagged "term project". At the beginning of the training /workshop, each participant will be given option of different project that he/she will have a choice to embark upon.

it is expected that each stage of the training, there will be update reflection of the knowledge acquire on the term project as assigned. The term project subsequence is used at a joint panel, to determine the grade of the candidates. Of course the term projects automatically constitute first element of the candidates show reel in pursuit of the desired dream career in Multimedia.
